What it does
Orq.ai is a platform for teams that build and run LLM applications and agents. Its core is an AI Gateway: applications send requests to one OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and Orq.ai routes them across 500+ models from 30+ providers with fallbacks, retries, load balancing, budgets, guardrails and PII redaction. Each request is recorded as a trace showing cost, tokens and latency.
The pricing page also lists building and operating features, including an agent runtime, knowledge bases, prompt management, experiments and evaluators. Teams can use their own provider keys or Orq-managed credits, and can route coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, and MCP servers, through the gateway.
Developers sign up, create an API key and change the base URL; a CLI can connect coding agents. It is aimed at engineering and platform teams, especially in enterprises that need cost limits and audit trails. Model usage is billed at provider rates on top of Orq.ai's own fees, and the newer Software Factory is early access and not covered by this listing.

Before you choose
- Model traffic is billed at provider rates; Orq.ai fees (a percentage fee plus spans and processed data) are on top, and the estimator on the pricing page is an example, not a quote.
- AI Studio seats, agent runs, knowledge bases and Teams features are separately metered or priced.
- Software Factory is early access and is not part of what this listing covers.
