Parasail
Hosted inference for open and frontier models via one OpenAI-compatible API
Linked from parasail.io · checked 29 Oct
- Tool type
- Hosted inference cloud, OpenAI-compatible API
- Made for
- Engineering teams building AI products
- Runs on
- Parasail hosted GPU infrastructure, called via API
- Models run on Parasail's fleet (NVIDIA hardware listed on pricing page); the API is the access surface, not an end-user app.
What it does
Parasail is an inference cloud. You send it prompts or tokenized requests through one OpenAI-compatible API endpoint and it returns model outputs from a library the company describes as 41+ open and frontier models, including GLM, Kimi, DeepSeek, MiniMax, and Qwen families. Teams can also bring their own fine-tuned models, which the site says are supported on an individual basis.
Developers typically call a serverless endpoint for pay-as-you-go per-token access, or contact sales to set up an Elastic endpoint for priority inference on selected models, billed per token at 25% above the model's Serverless rates with dedicated GPU performance. Reserved GPU capacity and batch jobs for high-throughput offline work are also offered. The company stresses lossless serving by default, with any lossy speedup opt-in.
The service suits engineering teams building AI products who want to move off closed-model vendors or avoid multi-year GPU commitments. Access requires signing in to the platform; Elastic endpoints and reserved capacity require contacting sales. Model availability varies by endpoint, and rate limits and capacity depend on the endpoint configuration.
What it can do
- Per-token inference across 41+ open and frontier models via one OpenAI-compatible API
- Serverless endpoints with no minimums and zero setup
- Elastic endpoints with dedicated GPU performance billed per token, no GPU-hour commitment
- Reserved GPU deployments with negotiated SLAs
- Batch processing for high-throughput offline jobs at lower per-token rates
- Lossless-by-default serving with an optimization agent for tuning speed, quality, and cost
Before you choose
- Elastic endpoints support selected models only; availability of a given model must be confirmed with sales.
- Reserved GPU pricing is quote-based and not published per hour on the public pricing page.
- Pricing shown is per 1M tokens and varies by model; check the pricing page rate table for current figures.

Get started
Serverless endpoints need no setup; Elastic endpoints and reserved capacity require contacting sales.
- Sign in at the Parasail platform and create credentials to access serverless endpoints.
- Point an OpenAI-compatible client at Parasail's endpoint and select a model from the library.
- For Elastic endpoints, contact sales to confirm model availability and endpoint configuration.
Plans and prices
Prices in USDServerless is billed per million input/output/cache-read tokens with no minimums. Elastic endpoints are billed per token at 25% above the model's Serverless rates. Reserved GPUs are hourly per GPU, billed by the minute, quote-based. Trial and free tier are not stated. Check the pricing page rate table for current model rates.
