What it does

Pruna AI provides hosted image and video generation models through an API. Developers choose an endpoint for text-to-image generation, image editing or upscaling, video generation or editing, animation, or avatar video. Depending on the model, a request accepts prompts, reference images, video, audio or a script and returns generated or edited media. Model-specific limits and resolutions differ; the API supports file uploads and synchronous or asynchronous requests.

Create an account in the Pruna dashboard, accept the required terms, configure billing when using a credit-billed account and create an API key. Send requests with the key, model selection and inputs, then retrieve the generated output. Pruna also offers self-hosted deployment options whose access and operating requirements need confirmation. Its free optimization framework is separate software; that library’s license does not make the hosted inference service free.
