What it does
Revise is a collaborative word processor for people creating or revising documents, including students and professional writers. Start in its browser editor by pasting text or importing a document; the editor supports Word files and also lists RTF, ODT, PDF and Markdown. You can prompt the agent to revise a document, request a critique, or proofread, and it can research and suggest changes. Suggested edits appear as tracked changes or comments that you can accept or reject. Revise also supports real-time document sharing and collaboration.
The workflow keeps editing and review in the document: drafts are saved automatically, and supported tasks include reconciling competing drafts, incorporating reviewer feedback, contract review, translation and format conversion. A free account includes the editor and a daily AI allowance; paid plans raise the included AI usage. The ChatGPT and Claude plugins are described as free, but edits made through them use the user’s existing subscription with those services. AI usage in Revise varies with requests, work requested and model; the pricing page says it meters actual token cost. The editor runs in a browser and can also expose documents to an MCP-connected agent.
