What it does
Thunderbolt is an open-source AI client designed for organization-controlled deployment. It connects to OpenAI-compatible model endpoints or ACP-compatible agents and can extend access to organizational systems through MCP. Applications are available for web, desktop and mobile environments.
The project is still under active development and is preparing for enterprise production readiness. Self-hosted evaluation requires a backend and authentication setup; fully offline operation is not yet established.
