Sloyd
Generate 3D models from text or images for games, printing, and design
- Tool type
- AI 3D model generator and asset suite
- Made for
- Game developers, makers, designers, and developers
- Runs on
- Web app and API
- Used through the browser-based app at app.sloyd.ai and programmatically through the REST API at api.sloyd.ai.
What it does
Sloyd takes text prompts, single images, or multiple reference images and produces 3D models, exported as GLB, OBJ, or FBX files. It also accepts uploaded 3D models for retexturing or splitting into separate parts, and includes tools for rigging and animating characters, generating 360° skyboxes, sound effects, short videos, and sprite sheets.
People use Sloyd to prototype objects quickly, iterate on variations of a model, and then refine or export them to game engines, 3D printing slicers, or design tools. A distinctive point is its template-based approach alongside pure generation: users can start from parametric templates for more control and adjust them in an in-browser editor.
Sloyd suits game developers, 3D printing hobbyists, interior designers, e-commerce teams, and developers who want to add 3D generation to their own products through its API. A free Guest plan allows one AI generation per day, while paid Plus and Pro plans unlock unlimited generations. The API runs on separate prepaid credits rather than a subscription.
