What it does

Studiosity's Writing Feedback Plus gives students feedback on their own drafts. A student uploads a draft at any stage and receives feedback in minutes across six areas: task alignment, critical thinking, structure, use of sources, language, and spelling and grammar. The service suggests changes and the student does the revising, so the writing stays theirs.

Universities offer it to students from inside the learning management system they already run. Students open it from Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard Ultra or Brightspace through LTI 1.3. The vendor cites a 2026 study modelled by Nous Group across seven universities, which associated Studiosity use with a weighted average retention uplift of 8.8 percentage points against non-users.

It suits universities that want to give students formative writing support at scale. Access is arranged at the institution level: the vendor invites prospective buyers to book a briefing, and public pricing is not listed. It is a university-contracted service rather than an individual-learner tool, and the effectiveness figures come from vendor-presented research.
