What it does

Thunder Compute provides GPU cloud environments for AI development and agent execution. Persistent instances give developers a machine to connect to for experiments, while short-lived Ubuntu sandboxes support reinforcement-learning tasks, evaluations and CI jobs. The service exposes console and developer interfaces for creating and managing the environments.

Snapshots preserve disks between runs. Choose the product and resources for the workload: instances are billed per minute and sandboxes per second, with different GPU rates and separate CPU, memory or storage meters. It is useful for developers who need GPU access without maintaining hardware. Saved snapshots continue to incur storage charges until deleted.

What it can do

  • GPU development instances
  • Isolated GPU sandboxes
  • Ubuntu environments
  • RL and evaluation workloads
  • Disk snapshots
  • Developer API access

Before you choose

  • Instance and sandbox GPU rates are different.
  • CPU, memory, disk and snapshot costs depend on the chosen product and configuration.
